Host an Info Session

Homelessness affects all of us. With more than 10,000 of our Santa Clara County neighbors living without a home, it is easy to see the impact on people’s lives and in our neighborhoods. Still, most of us have questions about how we got here and how we fix it.

  • Did you know that more than 80 percent of people experiencing homelessness lived here before losing their home?
  • Do your co-workers know about the evidence-based approaches to both prevent and end homelessness? Does your boss want to be a part of the solution, but doesn’t know how?
  • Does your church group, neighborhood group, volunteer group and/or other organization want to get involved?

We Can Help

Housing Ready Communities is a Destination: Home initiative specifically designed to answer your questions, provide data and facts, increase understanding of our homelessness crisis and our Community Plan to End Homelessness, and connect you with opportunities to help address homelessness.

If your board, staff, team, class or group is interested in learning more about homelessness and housing, the best way is to get together and talk about.

Host an Info Session

Usually scheduled for lunchtime, after work, or during membership or staff meetings, our team can bring our presentations to any size group (including companies, nonprofit organizations, faith communities, neighborhood associations, leadership programs, and cultural or political groups). Presentations are typically about 20 minutes with additional time for questions and discussion, but can be designed according to your group’s schedule and interests. We are available to attend both virtual online meetings and in-person meetings. For in-person meetings, we can come to your location or host small groups at our office in San Jose.

If you would like to learn more or schedule a free presentation and discussion, please fill out the form below and we will be in touch soon!

Not Ready Yet?

If you would like to talk about it first, please contact us. We look forward to connecting!
