Seek Help to Keep Your Current Housing
The Santa Clara County Homelessness Prevention System has assistance available for low-income families or individuals who are at risk of losing their housing. Visit PreventHomelessness.org or call (408) 926-8885 to schedule a pre-screening appointment to determine if you qualify for assistance.
Get Connected to Emergency Shelter & Temporary Housing Programs
The Here4You Shelter Hotline call center helps match and refer people to available emergency shelter, temporary housing programs and other community resources. If you are currently experiencing homelessness and need help finding immediate shelter, call the Here4You Shelter Hotline at (408) 385-2400 (Call Center Hours 9 a.m – 7 p.m.).
Get Assessed for Long-Term Housing Programs
Santa Clara County helps connect people experiencing homelessness to long-term housing by using a coordinated entry process to first assess needs and then identify the best type of housing intervention for each household.
