Our Past Initiatives
In addition to our current strategies, Destination: Home has led several initiatives that have since sunsetted. These initiatives not only helped thousands of homeless and at-risk individuals, the data and insight gained from these efforts continue to inform the ongoing work to end and prevent homelessness in Santa Clara County.

Housing 1000
This 3-year pilot proved its possible to end homelessness with housing, while demonstrating the cost effectiveness of housing and laying the foundation for communitywide Housing First policies.
All the Way Home
A community campaign to end veteran homelessness, convening public, private and nonprofit partners to ultimately house more veterans than those becoming homeless.
COVID-19 Response
A large coalition of public and private partners quickly pivoted early in the pandemic to prevent a massive wave of new homelessness, providing $85.4M to nearly 20,000 at-risk households.
