Future of Santa Clara’s El Camino Real: Panel Discussion
November 29, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
We invite Housing Ready Communities Action Network participants to attend this panel discussion and to ask questions of the panel about including supportive housing and extremely low income (ELI) housing as part of the El Camino Real Specific Plan.
Sample Questions
Can the City of Santa Clara commit to including one or more County Affordable Housing Bond-funded (2016 Measure A) developments within the Specific Plan area?
Are there affordability goals for the Specific Plan? What steps are being taken to ensure that extremely low income and very low income (affordable up to 50% and 30% of area median income) will be included?
What are the best ways to advocate for supportive and low income affordable housing as part of the Specific Plan?
