Gilroy Equity and Engagement Workshop for General Plan 2040

Identify important neighborhood issues and make your voice heard!
The City of Gilroy is hosting a workshop on equity, health and housing. The workshop will focus on important social, economic, health and environmental issues facing the City’s Equity and Engagement District (see map on flyer).
All residents, not just those who live in this area, are invited to this community dialogue on how to improve this neighborhood.

The City of Gilroy and the Gilroy General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) invite interested community residents to participate in a community workshop. The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate a community discussion on important social, economic health, and environmental issues facing the City’s Equity and Engagement District (see attached flyer).
The City encourages all residents, not just those who live in the Equity and Engagement District, to join this community dialogue on how to improve this neighborhood. The workshop will be conducted in English, with Spanish translation services available. Food and children’s activities will also be provided. Although meetings of specific importance will be added individually to the calendar, these monthly meetings may be of interest on an ongoing basis:
Housing, Land Use, Environment, and Transportation (HLUET) Committee – Typically meets at 10am on the third Thursday each month. As a regular agenda item, the County Office of Supportive Housing presents its monthly system data report at these meetings. Housing and Community Development Commission – Typically meets at 5:45pm on the second Thursday of each month. For details, see the Commission calendar on the City of San Jose website.
