Panel Discussion on Preventing Homelessness

May 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

On the Brink: Preventing homelessness in the South Bay

Presented by San José Spotlight

Despite the many polices and programs adopted in Silicon Valley to solve homelessness, the region contains one of the largest homeless populations in the nation, with more than 7,600 men, women and children living on the streets on any given night. At our forum, “On the Brink: Preventing homelessness in the South Bay” you’ll hear from expert panelists who will highlight what they’re doing to prevent homelessness in our community.

Panelists include:

+ Dave Cortese / Supervisor, County of Santa Clara County
+ Jennifer Casel / Student Services Coordinator, Eastside Union High School District
+ Ky Le, Director / Office of Supportive Housing, County of Santa Clara
+ Erin Stanton / Director of Family Assistance, Sacred Heart Community Service

San Jose Spotlight Members: Free; Non-members: $10
