Some messages about how and why communities create quality, affordable housing may not always work the way that advocates want them to. This webinar introduces communicators to a series of communications challenges facing the housing advocacy and community development fields. Using the concept that some messages “backfire”, FrameWorks staff will explain why understanding public thinking and drawing on empirically-tested messaging strategies are essential elements of any effort for systemic change.
