Host a House Meeting

Homelessness affects all of us. With more than 10,000 of our Santa Clara County neighbors living without a home, it is easy to see the impact on people’s lives and in our neighborhoods. Still, most of us have questions about how we got here and how we fix it.

  • Did you know that more than 80 percent of people experiencing homelessness lived here before losing their home?
  • Do your neighbors know about the evidence-based approaches to both prevent and end homelessness?
  • Do your friends want to be a part of the solution, but don’t know how?

We Can Help

Housing Ready Communities is a Destination: Home initiative specifically designed to answer your questions, build awareness of our homelessness crisis, increase understanding of supportive housing, and empower you to take action to prevent and end homelessness.

You Can Help

Do you like refreshments and spending time with friends? Are you interested in sharing information on homelessness and housing with your family or neighbors? Possibly the best way to talk about these complex issues is talking about them with the people closest to you. To increase community understanding, as well as the impact of our collective action, we need your help.

Host a House Meeting

Signing up below lets us know you are interested in hosting a virtual online or in-person house meeting so you and your friends can talk and learn together. When we receive your information, we will get in touch to talk it over, and see how we can help. As needed, we are happy to help develop an agenda, content and materials for your meeting. We can also help with any technical issues associated with hosting an online meeting.

Not Ready Yet?

If you would like to talk about it first, please contact us. We look forward to connecting!
