Ky Le

Since the Fall of 2021, Ky Le has served as a Deputy County Executive for the County of Santa Clara. He assists the County Executive by primarily supporting initiatives to increase affordable housing and improve safety-net services. His other County roles include Director for the Office of Supportive Housing and Mental Health Services Act Coordinator. Prior to joining the County in 2008, Ky held leadership positions at a homeless services nonprofit organization and in the U.S. Army. He earned his bachelor’s degrees from UC Davis and was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate. Ky was born at Camp Pendleton, California, after his family fled Vietnam in 1975. He currently lives in San Jose, CA, with his wife and their cat, Mothy. His community activities include serving as Palo Alto University Trustee, an Advisory Council Member for United Way Bay Area, and a volunteer coach for Girls on the Run Silicon Valley.
